Just about 8 months into lessons with Teacher Agnes, our boy has started picking up independent reading, as did his sister who also took up lessons with Shine. This gives us absolute faith in Shine’s teaching methodology. For a hyperactive child, we are also amazed and thankful that Teacher Agnes has managed to keep him interested in learning with her everlasting patience and interactive teaching. Ashton joined Teacher Agnes’ class in April 2021. As English is not Ashton’s first language before coming to Singapore, we are heartened to see great improvement in his independent reading and writing skills under Teacher Agnes’ guidance. We could also see Ashton become more confident in expressing himself.

Teacher Agnes has been very supportive and caring to Ashton. It was a great relief for us to see how he has been enjoying classes, even when classes had to move online to Zoom. In addition, Teacher Agnes frequently updates us on Ashton’s progress and shares useful tips on how we can help him.

We are happy for our son to continue his K2 programme with Teacher Agnes.
