Dear Teacher Cecelia,

You have taught me for three years since Primary 4. During the three years, I have learnt a lot from you. You have given me great tips and advice that I would not have gotten if I had not been to your classes.

You are one of those rare teachers who can make classes so enjoyable yet enriching. You are also a very dedicated and caring teacher who takes good care of us and ensures our wellbeing.

When I first started in your class, I was extremely weak in oral. After attending your classes for a period of time, I began to improve by leaps and bounds. Other than oral, I also improved in grammar, vocabulary, synthesis and transformation, etc. Your teachings have helped me ace all the different components in English.

I am very grateful to you for your dedication and care towards me and I really enjoy all your lessons from the beginning to the end.

Teacher Cecelia has taught my daughter for several years. I have seen great improvement in my child’s English and I am very pleased that she has benefited a lot from Teacher Cecelia’s classes. My daughter really enjoys going to Teacher Cecelia’s class and looks forward to it every week and this is because Teacher Cecelia is an inspiring, caring and amazing teacher who showers her students with care and love. She ensures that every child feels comfortable. She makes learning so fun for my child and I believe the other students also feel the same way. Before the Shine programme, Elicia was not interested in English.  But with Teacher Cecelia, we see a huge improvement.  She is now more willing to read other types of books.  Elicia benefits a lot in term of language.  She has learnt to use good phrases in her composition.

From 49 marks in the CA1 to 74 marks in the recent SA1 is certainly a tremendous improvement!

Abraham has been in the Shine Language programme since he was in P1.  He joined Teacher Cecelia in P4.  He enjoys going for classes as Teacher Cecelia has shown great patience and given him much encouragement in his work and effort.  This gives him confidence and helps build his interest for English, especially for writing/composition -which has been his phobia during examinations.  In just a matter of a couple of months, he has shown improvements for his writing/composition.
